"Proving You Wrong Since 1988" was inspired by the year considered by many to be the peak of hip hop, ...also the year that Skewby was born. How fitting for an artist to start his career by paying tribute to what inspired him to record music in the first place.

From the beginning track entitled, "Proving You Wrong," a passionate testimony from Skewby expressing his dedication to the game and his determination to prove his talent to the world, to "Get Retarded," where his party side is revealed, his lyrical talent will become evident to you. As you make it mid-way through the CD, Skewby shares a more personal side with tracks, "Sunday Morning," "No Critics Allowed," and "Searching". By the end of the CD you will realize you can't skip a single track.

In the short time since it's release, this album/mixtape has already been labeled an instant classic by many. To date, it has had over 30,000 digital downloads.
